Being 50

Passing a milestone in life can be traumatic, due to the fact that everyone enjoys reminding you of that milestone. Hair changes, wrinkles and sags, puffy and pouchy, aches and pains...all because we hit a milestone. It can all be depressing. It can also be reassuring that you are a survivor of time and can revel in your accomplishments. You actually DO know more today. Most importantly I found that you also enter a club of special people that refuse to let age define them. That with time each of us get wiser, and better with age regardless of the physical changes and we each can redefine that milestone. With that in mind, I find peace with my milestone. Watch out world, here comes a smarter JO.
