Being 50
Passing a milestone in life can be traumatic, due to the fact that everyone enjoys reminding you of that milestone. Hair changes, wrinkles and sags, puffy and pouchy, aches and pains...all because we hit a milestone. It can all be depressing. It can also be reassuring that you are a survivor of time and can revel in your accomplishments. You actually DO know more today. Most importantly I found that you also enter a club of special people that refuse to let age define them. That with time each of us get wiser, and better with age regardless of the physical changes and we each can redefine that milestone. With that in mind, I find peace with my milestone. Watch out world, here comes a smarter JO.

Another school year...
So, I thought after 5 kids going to school the past 20 years, I should know everything. Well, I don't according to my nine year old.
He says: Just because the teacher gives us homework doesn't mean you have to do it all!
REALLY?
He says: Just because you have a lunch box doesn't mean you have to put lunch in it!
REALLY?
He says: Just because school is starting doesn't mean I can't play video games!
REALLY!!
Well, I do know with each child you do have to raise them individually, but the one consistent factor over the years is I AM MOM and Just because I said so is all I need to say!

OMG...I can't believe I finally found my Blog!
This my sound totally crazy...but I could not figure out how to get back to my own blog! Seriously...I had to go back to Jessica's blog to find my post or something to figure out what it was! Truely...if I ever get this figured out it will be a miracle. I use to make short people feel tall because I was always shorter...I can now make bloggers feel like Bill Gates on the computer! Now let see if I can finally get back to this again!
